What's included in the travel fee?
The travel fee covers round-trip travel to your location, setup/cleanup time, equipment transport, and floor protection. Travel fees are waived for services over $200 or bridal party bookings (3+ people). Fees vary by location: Waterloo/Kitchener $25, Cambridge $30, Guelph $35.
How far in advance should I book mobile services?
We recommend 1-2 weeks for regular services and 2-3 months for weddings. However, we often accommodate same-week and even next-day appointments based on availability. Call or text us to check current openings!
What do I need to provide at my location?
Very little! Just access to a sink (kitchen or bathroom), a chair near a mirror, good lighting, and a power outlet. We bring everything else - all equipment, products, towels, capes, and cleanup supplies. We even bring floor protection.
Can you do color services at my home?
Absolutely! We bring all color equipment, mixing bowls, brushes, foils, and professional color products. We use floor protection and ensure proper ventilation. All the same services available in a salon can be done in your home.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
We understand life happens! Please give us 24 hours notice for rescheduling or cancellation. Same-day cancellations may incur the travel fee since we've already allocated travel time. We're flexible and will work with you.
Do you service apartments and condos?
Yes! We're experienced with apartment buildings, condos, and high-rises. Just provide visitor parking information and building access details (codes, buzzers, etc.) when booking. We navigate these locations regularly throughout the KW region.
Can you do multiple people at one location?
Definitely! Group bookings are perfect for mobile services - bridal parties, friends getting ready for events, or family styling sessions. We offer group rates for 3+ people and can coordinate timing to get everyone ready efficiently.
Is mobile service more expensive than salon?
Services are the same price as salon visits, plus a travel fee ($25-$35 depending on location). The travel fee is waived for larger bookings ($200+) or groups (3+ people). Many clients find the time savings and convenience well worth the small travel fee.
